About Us
Since Opus was founded in 1993, it has grown steadily to become the largest and most advanced post-production house in Israel.
Today, Opus serves as a home for both the local and international film and TV industry.
We host over 150 state-of-the-art Avid Media Composer editing suites, online editing suites, sound studios, DaVinci Resolve grading suites, and finishing services for film and television.
To maintain the highest level of service, we continually invest in the latest technologies and are always among the first to adapt to new workflows.
Opus is a Dolby Vision Certified Facility in Israel for HDR.
Services
Opus serves as a post-production house specializing in offline and online editing, color grading, and finishing services. Our expertise supports productions from the planning stage through on-set support, editing and final delivery.
Dailies and File-Based Data Management
Opus Dailies department can handle any camera format, at any resolution. Our dailies team ensures your footage is securely copied to our storage servers, archived to LTO, and transcoded into Avid offline media with synced audio and proxy files in the cloud.
Opus provides more than 5 Petabytes (5,000 TB) of RAID storage and multiple LTO autoloaders to guarantee the highest level of data protection.

Offline
Opus offers premium editorial suites along with real-time consultations with workflow experts and a technical infrastructure conducive to collaboration over Avid NEXIS media servers.
Remote Editing
Opus is a world leader in remote editing. Using the latest Teradici PCoIP technology we are able to offer remote editing in a cost effective plan, allowing production to work from both local and remote locations directly on our Avid NEXIS servers with extreme performance.
Online, HDR Grading and Finishing
From SD to 8K HDR — Opus has it all. Our experienced creative team relies on state-of-the-art technology, allowing us to provide a range of tools tailored to each project’s needs and budget, from Avid Symphony to DaVinci Resolve 4K HDR finishing systems. Opus also works with a team of leading colorists and online editors who bring their expertise to our suites every day.
Our finishing department includes more than 15 high-end DaVinci Resolve and Avid Symphony systems, giving us the flexibility to handle multiple productions simultaneously. Several of these suites are fully HDR-capable, designed for television and professional streaming projects, and equipped with calibrated high-end HDR monitors to ensure absolute color accuracy.
For feature film work, one of our DaVinci Resolve suites is dedicated exclusively to long-form finishing, featuring a professional cinema projector, a 4.5-meter wide screen, a 5.1 sound system, and a DCP server for theatrical mastering.

Sound
Opus sound studios are built on industry-leading Pro Tools Ultimate systems, purpose-designed for post-production sound and automated dialogue replacement (ADR), ensuring seamless integration into film and television workflows
Mastering & Delivery
Opus DCP and IMF mastering services include the conversion of images and sound tracks into digital cinema formats and to Netflix approved IMF packages.
We offer mastering services for TV series, feature films, trailers and advertising.
Opus provides a full range of file format conversion through hardware and software high-end solutions, and if needed, we master Blu-Ray and DVD as well.
Transcoding and Digital Archive
From any file to any file and from any tape to any file – our transcoding systems include a variety of solutions - including broadcast quality frame rate conversion.
We offer both hardware and software transcoders which includes the most advanced state-of-the-art tools. These tools allow us to offer digital archive solutions to productions companies that wants to transfer old tapes to digital files.
We can handle all professional tape formats – from Umatic to HDCAM.
Via tape incubation, we can recover old deteriorated tapes that suffer from the Sticky Tape Syndrome.
Custom Off-site Solutions
Every production manages its workflow differently, has different needs and a different budget. Opus has the experience to provide custom solutions to all those needs – from ingest to delivery. We custom-tailor systems exactly and specifically for unique workflows and budgets.
Whether your production requires building a post facility in the middle of the jungle or just renting a standard Avid system for your familiar office environment – we can provide it!
In addition, we offer technician services and constant guidance and support throughout the production.
Post-production Software Development
Our software development department is a unique combination of video and IT specialists. In order to create a perfect workflow, we realized that we must develop several applications that are customized to meet our clients' needs.
The software department has developed several workflow enhancement tools that speed up the editing and conversion process.
